Hola Familia!!!
Well sounds like everyone had a great conference weekend! I did too!!! I love conference!!! Sometime I wonder if its normal to love this church as much as I do...but really it was so good. That guy's talk on Saturday afternoon with 4 things on how to be better where he just macheted everyone big time was sooooooo good. I can't remember his name cause it was weird but I was inspired. Also, like every other talk inspired me. Prophets and apostles are da best.
Okay well this week was super cool. Lolita is a super old lady who me and HJ visited but she is super catolica so we left her although she has been to church a million times and loves us. She like refused to pray cause she said that God doesn't answer prayers and also refused to change churches. Well this week with Hna Rubio we decided to go back with no expectations. We get there and we sing a hymn and watch the movie of the restauracion and then when its over she just starts tellng us that she doesn't like the iglesia catolica and the people in the church are muy chismosas so she is gonna go to the iglesia mormona pero she feels like it might be a sin to change churches but that she feels super sad in the catholic church but really happy en la mormona. So we told her to pray about it right here and right now. (side note, like 10 minutes before the power had went out so we were kinda teaching in the dark) So she asks us, can i really pray and God will answer me? we tell her yes and she starts praying. During her prayer i was just praying and praying that she could receive her respuesta. Well she ended her prayer, we opened our eyes and the lights had come back!!!!! I automatically took that as God's answer to her prayers!! She did too and now she is going to church with us, she went to the conference and everything. YAY. She will be baptized but she says she wants to make a white dress first. But she is cute.
Oh finally got your package. THANK YOUUUUU like really the best. We look forward to every day to eat our chocolate and see the chistes or notes each day. Okay really it would just be a lot much easier for me to write in spanish but its okay. Speaking of which, when the peeps spoke in their own languages at conference THAT WAS SO COOL. I really likes that.
Also, April thank you soooo much for the package! I've already eaten everything haha but the tea i will plan on trying this week. A ver si quita mi parasito.
